A Child's Dream                                

I woke up this morning ,

oh what a surprise

lollipops were growing in 

my garden with eye's.

They stood there so straight,

and I seen on their face

a wonderful radiant smile,

as they watched peppermint sticks

growing upwards for miles.

There were gumdrops nestled 

in roses of dew,

and jelly beans were hanging 

from each tree limb that grew.

There were children a playing,

and singing with glee, as

bluebird's came flying down

down out of the trees

dropping lemon drops that

floated down with the breeze

Daisies started growing all over

out there

all I could do was stand there ,

and stare.

This is the dream so very 

true

Then God put a rainbow through 

the sky so blue.
